In First Volume, Half Title With Six Engraved Scenes, Lacking The Frontispiece And The Printed But Unillustrated Book Title, With The Titles To Each Part. Lacking The Engraved Title To The Second Part Which Is Sometimes Present. These Part Title Pages Are Dated 1682 Except The Second Book, Which Is Dated 1681. Original Leather Boards, With Small Crest Consisting Of A Many Tiered Crown With Nine Tips At Top, Four Shields At Center, Above The Superimposed Letters S And X. Later, Probably Eighteenth Century Or Early Nineteenth Century, Calf Spine, 5 Bands, Compartments Intricately Tooled And Gilt. The Binding Is Worn And Frayed, Front Joint Cracked Through And Front Board Detached, Rear Joint Cracked But Board Is Holding. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
