Contemporary light pencil name, foxing on the foredge, and rubbing on the boards, very good in near fine Dean Cornwell-illustrated dustwrapper. Basis for several films, most notably the 1926 silent version entitled Torrent directed by Monta Bell and featuring Ricardo Cortez and Greta Garbo. .
