State of New Jersey Official Road Map, 1931
General Drafting, New York 1931 - Map (fold up) shows State highways and other principal roads, official highway signs, hand signal directions, front cover of the State in form of Indian chief described as the first American road builder. Measures 40" x 22" colour map of State on one side (ready for framing), back side shows Distribution Plaza that fed into the Hudson River Bridge (before it became GWB); also proposed routes 21, 25 and 29 junction; larger map of proposed highways and roads feeding into the Hudson River Bridge and NYC. Small loss of paper but overall VG condition, much detail and factual stuff for graphic road analysis of the NY/NJ corridor. Insert street maps of Trenton, Atlantic City, New Brunswick localities as well. Plenty of open space in southern half suggests poor planning and development of State overall. [Attributes: First Edition; Soft Cover]
