Limited edition of 280 numbered copies, of which 250 were for the trade and 30 werehors commerce; this copy is number 272 and isa presentation copy inscribed by Michelson on the colophon for Adolf Spiwakowsky and his wife Paula, dated 26 December 1923. Quarto, pictorial card wrappers with woodcut design by Michelson, ribbon ties, [6] leaves printed recto only (uncut, some very mild foxing to the outer edges), each leaf with a woodcut illustration and text in Fraktur, being Michelson's Expressionist-driven interpretation of a mediaeval German folktale.
