Cont. calf, finely rebacked, black morocco spine label. Small tear at top of front free endpaper (where former owner's name was removed, but the date of November 8, 1779 remains). Bookplate on front pastedown of Rear Admiral John Byron (1723-1786) and his signature. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
