Paris: Librairie Charpentier et Fasquelle, 1902 - 8vo, contemporary brown half morocco, marbled paper boards and endpapers, gilt lettering, t.e.g., others untrimmed. Unopened. Original printed wrappers bound in. See BAL 4210 for the first edition in English, of which 12 copies only were printed for copyright purposes; this French edition is described under BAL 4211, which notes "Also five copies printed on Japan paper," but in fact there were 20, as stated in this copy. Curiously neither the English or French edition were located on OCLC First edition of the first French translation of Crawford's play Francesca da Rimini, number 15 of 20 numbered copies on Japan paper.
