No box to publisher ads, pg 14 reads low wail of, pg. 81 reads Pieces, pg. 227 line one reads While the Tin Woodman, colophon reset with no box. Broken type pg. 100, and pg. 186. Cover variant B stamped in red. 24 color illustrations including title page. Boards in very good condition, showing light discoloration. Front and rear hinge cracked and appears to have been repaired, cover seems to have been re attached. Previous owners sig. to front end paper, no other internal markings. Lights discoloration to a few of the pages. Several illustrations have small tears to the edges. Illustration to page 44 seems to have been reattached. Illustration to page 92 loose but still attached, illustration to page 150 possibly reattached, illustration to page 246 loose but still attached. Illustration to page 44 shows two closed tears to the rear. Illustration to page 160 shows an abrasion to the middle of the left side. Additional photos and information available upon request.
