An appeal for repentance and reformation by the interesting Quaker Minister Sophia Hume (1702-1774), who was born and bred in luxury in Charleston, South Carolina, but cast off her material lifestyle and converted to the Quaker view in 1740. Title-page rehinged at the gutter; some light soiling and wear; very good copy. Sabin 33780; cf.
