Internally, bookplate of J Maggs to fpd, first edition, 8vo, (viii), [1], 302 pp, early ink name at base of final page (Charles James), some occasional light soiling and spotting, small loss of impression affecting 3 letters on title, lacks the final advertisement leaf. Housed in a maroon cloth up and over box. , there was another edition published in 1799.Title continues: A Series of most remarkable occurrences during his seven years travels abroad; five of which were spent with a Lady he had released from Slavery. With particulars since his return with her to England.There was another edition published in 1799. A wonderful copy of a very scare and important title.
