The broadside reads in part: "Chancellor Adenauer heads a neo-Nazi Government, that is responsible for a wave of anti-Semitism and for carrying the swastika in Bonn. the action of Ben-Gurion, which generated a great deal of publicity for the meeting with Adenauer in New York, is a Jewish gift validating the heir and successor to Hitler's policies. this is a knife in the back. it is a disgrace and shame on Israel. The Adenauer-Ben-Gurion conspiracy is a danger to the security of our country."This broadside is offered with: BEN-GURION, David. Autograph Letter Signed. Jerusalem, August 17, 1966. On lined note paper. One page in Hebrew. Very Good Condition.Three years after leaving office, Ben-Gurion writes to "The Society for Dialogue between Israelis and Germans" in Tel-Aviv. One of Ben-Gurion's most controversial acts as Prime Minister was to reach an agreement with Germany over Holocaust reparations. This letter shows Ben-Gurion's continued interest in building bridges to the "new" Germany. "I am happy that such a Society has been founded and as far as my free time permits, I will try to help this effort as much as I can."
