Jingles, Jokes, and Funny Folks
Ernest Nister, E.P. Dutton, 1898, Hardcover, Book Condition: Very Good Condition, First Edition, Illustrated By: Louis Wain. Size: 210 x 260 mm. 32 pages. Item Type: Book. An unusually well-preserved copy of a scarce title. Generally clean and clear throughout, with only very faint toning towards page edges, a very tiny nick in the top edge of the front endpaper, and no other notable signs of damage or wear. Patterned endpapers are very lightly browned towards the centre from contact with boards. Profusely illustrated in black & white, and with a full-colour frontispiece again free from any significant wear, but peeling away at onew corner. Binding is firm and secure, with staples showing early signs of rust but generally very good. Covers are also bright and attractive, and bear only very faint marks and scrapes, mostly to rear, along with small bumps to corners. Why on Amazon do many sellers not describe their actual book?
