Genova, Venezia in blue full morocco, titles gilt to spine direct, spine and front elaborately tooled in gilt and partially dyed in tan for a two-tone onlay effect, rear board florally decorated in blind, turn-ins gilt-rolled, white silk doublures, all edges gilt. Rubbing to ends and corners, joints starting at the top, internally fine, excellent condition. Colour facsimile reproductions of the original illuminated text throughout. First edition thus, a handsome colour facsimile of Blake's extraordinary philosophical poem The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, here presented in an exquisite binding executed by A. Genova of Venice.
