A LITTLE FLUTTER (Sherlockiana)
London: Cassell 1930 - With ten pages involving a 'Mr. Sherlock Holmes', a private enquiry agent who insists he is no relation to Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective. Extremely scarce in dust-wrapper. Near fine (possibly unread; spine ends a little pushed; some pale foxing to early and later pages) in a very good dust-wrapper (small chip to head of front panel takes part of 'E', medium chip at foot of spine takes part of publisher's imprint). This is only the second copy of the domestic '7/6' first edition we have seen or handled in some twenty years, and, whilst others must surely exist, only the fourth privately held copy known to us. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
