First edition. Although the book bears a 1900 copyright date, it was apparently published in 1901. Discovery of a utopian community in the Andes of northwest Argentina, based upon the principles of Christian Socialism, founded a hundred years earlier by English colonists and long marooned from the outside world by earthquake and landslide.
