Wyld's New Plan Of London And Its Vicinity
J.Wyld - London - - 74.5 x 57 - Original colour - This folding map of London extends from Highgate in the north to Camberwell in the south and from Notting Hill in the west to the Victoria Docks (in the margin) in the east. This map was first published as "Wyld's New Map For ..." in 1844 and its title was changed in c.1866 to include "Vicinity". The map shows the capital in good detail and is attractively coloured to highlight the postal districts and the railway lines. With an attractive, delicately engraved border.
