The last early edition of the reports attributed to Noy, one of the finest lawyers of his day (numbering Hale and Maynard among his pupils) and "one of the six persons recommended by Lord Bacon for reporters"; with the occasional early annotation. Contemporary unlettered sheep, later label, quite rubbed and somewhat bowed, the joints just cracking, but quite sound; a crisp usable copy.
