Left margin trimmed away except in reinforced area, else untrimmed edges. Early creases from folding. Overall very good. An important proclamation against privateering, declaring the neutrality of British harbors and making the ships and cargoes of violators subject to confiscation; requiring British ships to come to the aid of merchant vessels attacked by privateers; requiring that Men of War serving foreign powers be detained in British ports until merchant vessels have safely put to sea again from those ports; prohibiting any supply or other dealings with privateers by British subjects; and prohibiting British subjects from entering into privateering activities on behalf of any foreign powers.
