James Ridgway, London 1810 - 5 volume set, including 4 volumes from 1810, plus the supplementary 5th volume on 'Miscellaneous Subjects', 1812. Full contemporary calf with gilt embossed seal of Trinity College Library on front and back covers. Prize presentation to Henry Leslie for academic achievement, as stated on label to front pastedown of volume 5. Gilt border ruling to covers, framing blind border tooling. Spines with raised bands and gilt devices within spine panels. All edges marbled. Page mark indigo ribbon present in all volumes. Volume 1 with frontispiece portrait of Lord Erskine. Volume 4 with fold-out plan of court, following contents page. Vol. 1: viii, 393 pp. Vol. 2: 453 pp. Vol. 3: vi, 503 pp Vol. 4: v, 446 pp. Vol. 5: i, 246 pp. plus advertisment. Vol. 5 contains a speech made on behalf of Richard Bingham, Lord Lucan, in an action brought by Bernard Edward Howard, 'for adultery with his wife'. Cover edges rubbed with some bumping. Cover hinges splitting, but holding, though weakest on Vol. 5. Wear and some scuffing to spines. Some toning to prelims on all volumes, with two bumps to text block edge on vol. 5.
