M'Clurg and Co 108 pp, ads, plates. Near Fine, light wear to covers, the ads in front are tanned as must always be the case, the leaves and covers are Fine. With the handsome book plate of Indiana author George Barr McCutcheon. The bottom of the wraps states Twentieth Thousand. A beautifully bound and preserved copy of the first appearance of this murder story by Stevenson. Rare to have it so beautifully bound with the front and rear covers and all ads.
