Bound in pictorial blue gray cloth accented in light blue, white and black, lettering gilt, spine and top edge gilt; inner front hinge with an early repair, rear hinge fine, covers only slightly worn, with no tears or names. A very nice copy of what the author states ".was written almost word for word as it was written during 1000 days spent in the arctic and is . a simple, true account and statement of facts incident to our life and work there.plain facts, penned by a plain man"
