First U.S. edition, first printing. The correct first printing of the U.S. edition with title page dated 1907 and omitting "Father Maddox's Tale," a story which did appear in the earlier UK edition and in later printings of the Benziger edition. Benson's best collection of short fiction. "... Montague Summers said of A MIRROR OF SHALOTT ... that 'there are few better stories of this kind.'
