London Printed for the Hakluyt Society 1904 - Second series No.XI 1904, first issued in 1902, ex library copy, 8vo, approximately 220 x 140 mm, 8¾ x 5¾ inches, 2 folding maps, 1 coloured, 4 plates, 1 a chart, pages: xvi, 1-191, 37 (Hakluyt Society, publications and index to same), bound in the original publisher's blind decorated blue cloth, gilt ship vignette to upper cover, gilt lettering to spine. Spine slightly darkened, small area discoloured where library label removed above tail of spine, top edges dusty, upper cover very lightly marked, traces of label removal on front pastedown, endpapers and half-title browned, small damp stain to lower corner of front endpapers, small blind library stamp to top corner of title page, light foxing to title page, blind stamp repeated on the 2 folding maps and 3 of the plates.
