Very good copy.. 12mo, contemporary calf (a bit rubbed and worn), raised bands, gilt rules. The highly popular sequel to Johnson's Rasselas, in which Miss Knight attempts to show the brighter side to life: the prince and princess marry a brother and sister and finally find happiness. This was Cornelia Knight's first published work. Contemporary ink signature on the title page.
