1816 - 8vo, plain leather note book c. 1816. Early manuscript copy in a neat hand of Walker’s poem celebrating the victory of Waterloo (76 pages), followed by a manuscript account of the list of Scots Greys who fell in the battle (12 pages), listing those killed, died of their wounds, and wounded, followed by Colonel Clarke’s speech, ‘I have the pleasure this day to deliver these Medals to the Regiment which is the most gratifying Duty which has fallen to my lot since I have had the honour of commanding one of the finest .’ He goes on to console those who have not won medals, saying that their services in the depot were nevertheless of the greatest importance.
