Cambridge, Massachusetts: printed at the Riverside Press, 1903. First edition. Folio (14 x 11", 35.5 x27.5cm), viii, 223pp., 52 full-page b/w plates printed recto only. There is a previous owner's lightly pencilled signature on the front free endpaper, a one-inch paper crasck in the middle of the internal front hinge. and slight browning to the uncut pasger edges. Otherwise, very good in pale olive cloth stamped with a design in black, spine faded, tiny nick on the front cover fore edge, and a few scattered stains on the rear board. An elegantly designed book, with beautiful -- and totally clean -- plates.
