Longman & Co., London 1817 - Hand-colored aquatint engraving. Drawn and engraved by William Daniell, dated September 1, 1817. Measures approximately 12" x 9" (to the plate mark); sheet measures 14.5" x 10.5". Toning to the sheet edges and margins, the bottom left corner is torn, very good. One of 308 plates from Daniell's great work: *A Voyage Round Great Britain*. The journey from Land's End to Holyhead was undertaken in six separate trips from 1813 to 1823, and resulted in 308 sublime aquatint engravings printed through 1825. A fine impression of Cormorants Cave, Staffa Island, off the west coast of Scotland, seen from the sea. [Attributes: First Edition]
