An excellent early primary source based on the author's journals and diaries. * Fascinating reading, with excellent maps and charts, complete as issued. The frontispiece is a tinted lithograph. Useful detailed descriptions of China and Japan written just after the opening Japan. Experiences on the H.M.S. Barracouta a paddle sloop, of the Royal Navy. Tronson was the surgeon. The H.M.S.
