London, Printed for the Hakluyt Society, 1945... 2 VOLUMES COMPLETE SET, Second Series No.XCI and XCII, 1945, Ex library set, 8vo, approximately 220 x 140 mm, 8¾ x 5¾ inches, Volume I: portrait frontispiece, 24 plates, 5 maps and charts, 1 folding, plus large folding map in pocket inside rear cover, pages: xxx, 1-259; Volume II: portrait frontispiece, 12 plates, 8 maps, 5 folding, plus folding map in pocket at rear, pages: viii, 261-474 including index, bound in the original publisher's blind decorated blue cloth, gilt ship vignette to upper cover, gilt lettering to spine. Gilt library number to spines, tiny bump to a couple of cover corners, otherwise bindings very bright and clean, 2 library labels on front pastedowns, pale ink library stamp on reverse of frontispieces and all maps, small oval blind stamp at top corner of title pages repeated once within, ink library numbers on verso title page, lower corner of pages 423-436 very lightly creased.
