London.: Dickinson Bros.. [ 1854].. Color lithograph with some hand-color, 13 1/2 x 19 inches on sheet size 16 3/4 x 23 inches. With accompanying text sheet. Light scattered foxing to lower margin and lower right corner, single fix mark to upper left corner (just outside image), adhesive tape to corners of verso (not affecting front image), overall very good bright condition. A beautiful view of the interior architecture of the Crystal Palace and of a section of the French exhibition inside the Crystal Palace from the first international World's Fair that took place in Hyde Park, London, England, from 1 May to 15 October 1851. From: Dickinson's Comprehensive Pictures of the Great Exhibition of 1851 From the Originals Painted for H.R.H. Prince Albert by Messrs. [Joseph] Nash, [Louis] Haghe, and [David] Roberts. At the left is the display of bronze manufactures of Le Rolle Freres; at right what appears to be a ceramic display by Ed. Honore, at the centre a display of silver by C. Christopher. .
