John Kip ca. 1720 - Title banners in the sky with coats of arms and putti. 48x117cm and 48x113cm respectively. Strong early impressions. Excellent condition. The pair Johannes Kip (1653-1722), Dutch engraver of topographical views. He worked from 1688 in London. - Both prospects (City of London, and Westminster) were published separately, each on two sheets and joined; however, they are drawn so that they could be joined together to provide a single panoramic view of approx. 230cm length.
