Sisson & Martens "A"binding "The Macmillan Company" on base of spine. No Dust Jacket. Camera photograph of Jack London at work and clipped bank check Jack London signature tipped front flyleaf. Other than; white title lettering on front panel rubbed off; light dust soiling to white cloth spine; small discolorations to front panel; light printing ink smudges pg 10; Condition: A Very Good Hardcover Copy. The camera photograph shows Jack London, wearing eye shades and kimono, at his writing desk. Note in pencil on back of photograph says "Honolulu writing "Hearts of Three". In comparing with hand writing examples, possibly is London's writing. The check signature is cut from a "not over 10 dollars" canceled check from his bank, The Merchants National Bank of San Francisco. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy]
