London: Printed for James Magnes and Richard Bentley, 1677. Book. Very good- condition. Hardcover. First Edition. Octavo (8vo). [xii], 64 pages of text (actually 66 as page numbers 25-26 repeated). Lacks final page or pages (Epilogue?). Modern (circa 1930) hardcover binding of cloth and marbled paper with minor shelfwear and soiling. Title page and final page is browned, with a few small ink stains. Minor soiling scattered throughout text. Bottom margin trimmed close to text. Measures just over 8 inches in height.Dedicatory verse written by Dryden. First quire misbound, causing the Prologue to be incorrectly placed. Partly based on La Calprenede's Cassandra..
