New York: Reynard & Hitchcock, 1936. Third Printing, October, 1936. SIGNED by the author without inscription on front free endpaper. Octavo7.5" x 5.25"); [xiv], 268p. Blue cloth-covered boards with dark blue lettering and illustration. Lacking dustjacket. Boards lightly edgeworn with tugging/bumping to spine ends, toning along edges and darkening to spine, and some general smudging. Front board opens a bit shakily but binding is holding. Contemporary gift inscription "To Dorothy Ellen and James Dodd from Marjorie Pickens, Christmas 1936" on front pastedown, with the name of another owner, Mary Elizabeth Buford, at top of front free endpaper.
