Coloniae: Geruinum Calenium & hæredes Iohannis Quentelij. I am limited to 12 photos on eBay, but I have many more photos on my website...just ask. Johann Pistorius was a 16th-century historian who published a number of anti-Protestant works each of which demonstrated his knowledge of his despised theological opponents such as Martin Luther. This work, published in 1594, is a collection of Pistorius letters to Joannes Pappus, a fellow German theologian, describing the controversies of the Calvinists and Protestants in the 16th-century.
