This book was originally written by George Crakanthorp, but was published posthumously after his death by his brother Richard Crakanthorp who was bishop to King James I of England. This book is considered to be in Very Good condition for its age. Dark brown leather hardcover boards, rubbed and scuffed. Blindstamp design on spine. Leather is missing from top half of spine. Both hinges are starting, although the main text block binding remains mostly solid. Library bookplate inside front cover. Some writing in pencil on front endpapers, as well as a previous owner's name written in pen. Main text body appears to be free from writing or marginalia. Mild foxing throughout. xx. 505 pp. Alphabetical table (index) at back. Due to this book's size and/or weight, additional shipping fees may be needed, especially for international orders.
