Tall 8vo. Original green cloth with boards and spines elaborately gilt recased xii, 478; viii, 459pp. London, J. Hatchard & Son, Sleeman (1788-1856) served in the Nepal War of 1814-1816 and along with many in his regiment was struck down by jungle fever.
