Published by Claude Cramoisy in Paris during the year MDCLXII (1662 - 1st edition). Prefaces by Louis-Henri de Lomenie de Brienne, by the author's nephew Jean Madelenet, Gabrielis Madeleneti Elogium P. Petito* scriptore, Ode by Carolus du Perier. Leather binding. Gilt ornaments on spine. Handwritten inscription on first blank leaf [Pour Monsieur Ladvocat Delavau par son tres obeissant serviteur... - though the handwritten dedication is signed by MADELENET, due to the fact that Gabriel Madelenet reportedly died in 1661 -while the book is dated from 1662-, it was probably signed by the poet's nephew Jean Madelenet].
