1965. Here is an elegant book of wood cut prints and some observations in nature by the authors Armida Maria and Theresa Colt. There is also an accompanying large portfolio of 10 woodcuts by George Mackley of different Weeds and Wildflowers each of which is about 9 inches x 11 1/2 inches each of the 10 are individual prints. This comes in a hard cardboard case and the books are handmade covers with elegant yellow and fiber designs. As described on back signature page: "Designed and printed by Will Carter at the Rampant Lions Press... The type is Monotype Arrighi 16pt, The paper is original Turkey Mill, made by Hollingsworth of maidstone,the binding is by Mansell of London. The edition is limited to 250 copies of which this is number 135... George Edward Mackley MBE (born 1900 in Huntingdon, died 1983 in Tonbridge, Kent) was an English wood engraving artist.
