One or two plates with slight marginal chips and browning stains. In a fine contemporary Florentine style binding of full red morocco, elaborate gilt border with double fillets, outer semi circles, and repeating plumes, inner border of alternative oak leaf and acorn ornaments with elaborate floral side and corner pieces. Spine panels with rich gilt decoration of small repeated ornaments, black lettering piece slightly chipped at two corners. Boards bear the intials M.J.S.B. (Berkeley family?). AEG.
