This work follows his second visit to the American west, the very same trip that inspired him to turn the Estes Park, Colorado into a game preserve for the exclusive use of himself and his British and Irish friends. Illustrated, by Valentine W Bromley. Bromley was a British artist from a well known family of artists. He was a frequent art correspondent for the Illustrated London News.
