[HERALDIC - GENEALOGY - COAT OF ARMS - COAT OF ARMS] Knight of COURCELLES 1759-1834 Jean-Baptiste-Pierre Jullien de Courcelles Genealogist Historiographer Magistrate Jean-Baptiste-Pierre Jullien de Courcelles, known as the Chevalier de Courcelles, born September 14, 1759 in Orléans, died July 24, 1834 in Saint-Brieuc, is a French historiographer; magistrate, president of the administration of hospices, corresponding member of the society of sciences, arts and belles-lettres, of the city of Orleans; chief administrator of the Asile royale de la Providence in Paris, and honorary genealogist to the king. Family His father Pierre-Nicolas Jullien (1728-1795), adviser to the king and notary at the Château d'Orléans, and his mother Marie-Madeleine Gorrant have five children. He has two brothers, Nicolas-Étienne, Denis-Michel, and two sisters, Marie-Madeleine and Catherine-Victoire. He married Marie-Madeleine Lormeau (1758-1807) on December 31, 1781, with whom he had two children, Catherine-Madeleine Pauline Jullien (1783-1807) and Augustin-Étienne-Pierre Jullien (1789-). It takes the name of Courcelles, in reference to the land acquired in the Gâtinais at Courcelles-le-Roi, near Pithiviers. A second marriage on January 6, 1818, with Étiennette-Élisabeth-Jeanne-Athénaïs-Ursule de Picot de la Motte (1785-), only daughter of Bernard-François-Bertrand, marquis de Picot de la Motte (1734-1797), they have four children, Marie-Louise-Geneviève-Athénaïs Jullien de Courcelles (1810-), Marie-Anne-Amélie Jullien de Courcelles (1814-1816), Pierre-Marie-Charles-Victor Jullien de Courcell … [Click Below for Full Description]
