SIGNED. the front has some yellowing. pages are in good shape .The original caption booklet is present. This is the edition, published by George Simon and Schuster in 1952.Comes exactly as pictured. Very rare signed copy of Henri Cartier-Bresson The Decisive Moment Many condition issues listed below but complete with Dustjacket illustrated (see photos of condition) by Henri Matisse. Original Captions Booklet (English Translations) Laid in. Dust Jacket is original and has split. We store the DJ flat in archival storage to prevent further damage. We started to inquire about restoration just before the pandemic. We did not attempt any repairs ourselves and believe it should be handled by a professional expert in paper and books. We have photographed it laid out flat on both white acid free board and black cloth to contrast and show details. The Illustrated Boards by Henri Matisse are identical artwork design to the dust jacket. See loss at top of spine and splitting along binding on front and back of book. Inside of the book is good and the title page is clean with the photographers signature in black ink. SIGNED COPIES OF THIS LANDMARK BOOK IN ANY CONDITION ARE EXTREMELY RARE. Recent prices range from $3500 for a good copy to $10K to a signed copy to a famous french fashion designer.
