Printed by W. Blanchard, 1792. Second Edition. Hardcover. vii, [1], 352pp. Later quarter blue polished calf over marbled boards, spine decorated in gold and with red morocco label lettered in gold. Marbled endpapers. The binding is signed by Stroobants. Croft was a wine merchant, former sheriff of York, and eccentric antiquarian and collector. With the bookplate of the Cleveland Browns former owner and noted book collector Bob Gries on the front pastedown endpaper. Front hinge reinforced, light wear to corner tips and along the spine.
