A collection of eight pamphlets,
published variously in Newcastle Leeds Nottingham Manchester and Bristol -1797, 1792. eight pamphlets in one vol., 12mo., various paginations, contemporary sheep, neatly and appropriately rebacked, spine gilt lettered, with the remains of a Bethel Library label> on front pastedown, minor and very occasional soiling, some overall paper browning but overall in very good state of preservation. The collection comprises: 1. [KILHAM, Alexander]> An address to the members and friends of the Methodist Society, in Newcastle.> [Newcastle-upon-Tyne?], 1792. 12mo., 24pp., with the early signature of Robert Hudson> at head of title-page. Rare: ESTC finds copies only at BL + Bodleian + John Rylands.> 2. [KILHAM, Alexander]> An account of the trials of Alexr. Kilham at two district meetings previous to his trial at the Conference held at London 1796. Written by himself.> 12mo., 48pp., wanting the printed title, which is supplied in manuscript in a near-contemporary hand, last page rather soiled. Apparently rare, the ms. title not corresponding to any entry in ESTC.> 3. KILHAM, Alexander> An account of the trial of Alexander Kilham, Methodist preacher, before the General Conference in London: on the 26th. 27th. and 28th. July, 1796.
