Dated 1932; first published 1929. 3) The Governor of Kattowitz, cheap edition, second impression, pp.287 [1]. INSCRIBED by the author in black ink to Norah Skeggs, dated March 1935, to fly-leaf. Also with an autograph letter in blue ink on a single sheet of paper, from the author to Miss Skeggs, thanking her for a gift she had sent to his son Duncan. Publisher's blue cloth with black titles to spine and upper. Toned throughout, with spotting to edges. Letter creased and crumpled, with a minor burn mark.
