In fair condition. Ex-library of Lehrer-Bibliothek. Binding is shattered/broken. Numerous imperfections and scratch marks to surface of boards. Vellum is browned with superficial surface dirt. Manuscript spine is broken with browning and edge wear. Royal stamp on front title page. Initials from 1647 on front title page. Some marginalia in old hand, otherwise unmarked. Overall a beautiful book with critical flaws to its binding. Will need repair if handled regularly. Please see photos. A beautiful book with fantastic woodcuts on Roman history and life.
