Cobden-Sanderson. This is No. 631 of 1,000 individually numbered copies. Includes original advertising literature and invoice and the book and box are in FINE condition. - Roma hand made end papers from the Fabriano mill. - Raised banding on the spine, gilt top edge, two ribbon markers. - Type set in Chaucer, a type specially designed by William Morris for the Kelmscott Chaucer. - 568 Pages. Size: 16 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches. Includes an accompanying booklet, featuring an introductory essay by William S. Peterson. Enclosed in a solander box, bound in buckram and lined with Fabriano Ingres paper. AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING BOOK. Photographs do not do it justice. The last photo is pehaps best represents the lovely crisp colour of the paper.
