Halpern, Irving W.; Stainslaus, John N.; Botein, Bernard
A Statistical Study of the Distribution of Adult and Juvenile Delinquents in the Boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn New York City
New York City Housing Authority, 1934. First Edition. Paperback. Good. Red wraps faded at the spine, generally rubbed and with a few moisture spots. Square, front hinge cracked but still firmly attached, name written on the title page, clean otherwise. An interesting look into early 20th-century New York City criminology, complete with twelve maps on the distribution of arrests, juvenile delinquents, misdemeanants, felons, petty offenders, and female offenders in Brooklyn and Manhattan. According to the Foreword written by Langdon W. Post, the chairman of the New York Housing Authority, this was, at the time, the most thorough crime report of New York City that had ever been published. Good. [Attributes: First Edition]
