Ten Little Suffergets [1910-1915]
Ten Little Suffergets. Np, c. 1910-1915. A 12-page booklet, measuring 5 1/2" x 7 1/2", that lampoons the suffragist movement. Based on the "Ten Little Indians." The little girls are reminiscent of Grace Drayton's Campbell soup kids. The back cover has an ad for a furniture store in Haverhill, Massachusetts. A very scarce item with only three found: in the Bryn Mawr College's Women's Suffrage Collection, at Penn State University and in the Cotsen Children's Library at Princeton University. The booklet is in good antiquarian condition. Front cover partially detached. A tear on the front cover and a chip on the read cover. [Attributes: First Edition]
Bookseller: pandichbooks [Chappaqua, New York, United States]
