SIGNED Bill W Letter 1967 Barry Collins Alcoholics Anonymous Little Red Book
1967. This is a typed signed letter from Bill Wilson, co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, to a member of the Nicollet Group in Minnesota, Bob Frey. There is also a handwritten P.S. note at the bottom with a second Bill signature. The two signatures and the note are no doubt written in Bill's hand and are 100% authentic. The letter is on Bill's personal letterhead with the New York Office address on it. The letter is dated April 14, 1967 and mentions Barry Collins and his 27th AA anniversary. Barry Collins and Ed Webster were members of the Nicollet Group. They also together formed the publishing company Coll-Webb which published the Little Red Book, aka An Interpretation of the Twelve Steps of the Alcoholics Anonymous Program, and Stools and Bottles, both written by Ed Webster. Ed also wrote Bar Room Reveries, an AA joke book, and Our Devilish Alcoholic Personalities. The letter is in amazing condition and is currently framed on my wall. I'll be sad to see it go. I know there's a good home for this out there. Barry Collins is a well known name, the Nicollet Group is a well known group, and i know there are a ton of LRB fans out there! Thanks for looking. -Sean.
